Our trip to Leeds Castle - The loveliest castle in the world

Today,we went to the Leeds castle in Kent. This castle was voted the loveliest castle in the world. The first thing we did was we went to feed the birds. There were geese, ducks and doves and we thought the birds were very cute.

Next, we went through the castle grounds, there were many different kinds of plants and trees around which were gorgeous. Then we saw a moat surrounding the castle to prevent enemies from the past but now is used as a tourist attraction. After that we went inside the castle we were all very excited because we were to see weapons, rooms and portraits from the past which were really creepy but cool.

Following the castle we navigated through a complex maze which made us exhausted and then we saw birds of prey swooping through the sky in a falconry show and they were awesome! To finish we ate ice-cream and got to play at the famous knight's realm theme park. It was entertaining but sadly we had to leave.

Tomorrow we are going to have more fun in our English lessons.
