Day 7 - Relaxing Day

This morning we took a train to Tunbridge Wells and it was very exciting because this is the first and last time we could really shop in England. When we arrived we went to Waterstone’s book store first and we all bought three books. In the store it was old fashioned because there was so much wood and it had rare books that we couldn’t find in Hong Kong.

After we walked across the street and went into Victoria Place for shopping. We bought a lot of souvenirs and stuff which was a lot cheaper than back home.Carroll and Matthew bought a bag and a pair of shoes which were amazing.

For lunch we had fish and chips but it was shame because Carroll couldn’t have it because he had a sore throat and it was very yummy.

In the afternoon we had a writing workshop which was a really good tool for us to enhance our creativity. As a treat the teachers allowed to play a football game which happened to be physical and involved lots of teamwork. After we watched the movie Matilda written by Roald Dahl which was definitely funny and to finish the teachers brought us noodles to remind us of home.
