Trip to The Globe and St. Paul's

Hello we are Aiden and Clement. Today, we are going to do the blog for the excursion to the Globe Theatre and St. Paul's Cathedral.

In the morning we woke up at about 7:20 and we had breakfast at the dining hall. After a delicious breakfast we walked to Tonbridge train station and quick as a flash we arrived at Cannon Street station.

Firstly we went to the colossal and majestic Globe Theatre. After sightseeing around the theatre, we went to the Globe Educational Centre. The one hour workshop helped us a lot in understanding the tragedy Romeo and Juliet. We benefited a lot from that once in a lifetime experience of a drama workshop conducted by our teacher Dominique.

Later, we waled past the famous London Bridge which was also mentioned in the song 'London Bridge is Falling Down'.

Crossing the bridge, we arrived at the holy St. Paul's Cathedral. The cathedral was not a common sight as the magnificent structure was a shocking 100-130 metres tall! After a long walk up the stairs to the top of the building we finally got to see the absolutely stunning view like in the photos shown below. Climbing down the stairs , we started walking back to the train station leading back to the dormitory.

After dinner and Edwin's birthday party we had a speaking workshop with Miss Lisa about the tiger and it was quite hard because we need to memorise it for the presentation in front of all of the parents and teachers.

At 9:45 it was time to sleep and the end of the day.
